It is stated in the hadiths that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will be single and Jesus Messiah (pbuh) will get married and have children

ADNAN OKTAR: Zubeyir Bekoglu asks, "Master, will Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) have children?" Jesus Messiah will have children but the Mahdi will not. The Mahdi will be single. He won’t be married in the true sense of the word. This is how it is told in the hadiths. But this is not the case for Jesus Messiah. He will get married and have two children. Probably, he will do so in order not to draw attention to his true identity. He may be in the American society or in another society, and if he stays single and doesn’t get married, that might draw a lot of attention. They would be suspicious.

They will probably suspect him of being a metaphysical being. But by getting married, he will dispel all these suspicions. This way, people will be convinced that he is a man of this world. However, he is not the man of today’s world. He is the man of the world that existed 2000 years ago. But of course it is quite surprising that he comes here, to this world, after 2000 years.
