Students injured as 'massive' tornado sweeps over Chinese school

Dramatic footage has emerged from China of a group of students trying to seek shelter as a tornado hits their school.

The video, filmed in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province on Thursday, shows several people trying to close a glass door but it blows open and the whole building starts to shake as the twister arrives.

According to local news, at least one tornado touched down in Jiangsu Province during a powerful rain and hail storm.

Several students were reportedly injured.
