Bajirao Mastani | Birju Maharaj Tells Deepika To Think About Ranveer While Dancing On Song
After seeing the trailer of Bajirao Mastani, everyone is talking about how amazing Deepika has looked as a warrior princess. Being a Bhansali film we know it will have some grand dance sequences. Currently Deepika is training hard for her solo number with dancer guru Birju Maharaj. Titled Mohe Rang Do Lal, the song is an adaptation of one of the Kathak maestro's own performances. It demanded more from the actress as the song tells an emotional tale. So to switch roles from a warrior to a sensitive lover the star needed a role model. Birju Maharaj's advice to the actress was this, "I told Deepika to think of Ranveer (Singh), who is her on screen lover, as her Kishore and like Madhubala had danced to his tunes in Jhumroo, she should dance the same way for her Bajirao.” We would like to eagerly see the song to see how the offscreen chemistry has turned out in the dance.
