Bajirao Mastani In Trouble For ‘Distorting’ History?
Seems like Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming movie Bajirao Mastani may face release trouble on 18th December. A petition has been filed in a Pune court seeking a ban on Bajirao Mastani. The case will come up for hearing on 26th November. It is claimed that the historical facts have been wrongly portrayed in the movie while showing late king Bajirao Peshwa and his wives Kashibai and Mastani. Also, the ‘Pinga’ song in the movie shows leading heroines Priyanka and Deepika dancing together, which shows that it has distorted history. ‘Pinga’ dance is an integral part of Marathi culture and has been portrayed as an ‘item song’ in the movie.
