70-year-old man rescued after spending 12 hours in slush

A heartwarming video has emerged of people and police officers rescuing an elder trapped in slush.

The video, filmed in Xuancheng, Anhui Province, China, last Saturday, shows three policemen and two kind-hearted people pulling the elderly man out of the mud.

According to local reports, the 70-year-old man was stuck in the slush for 12 hours before police arrived.

The rescue took an hour and the man was sent to hospital.
