Puppies are adorable but also often prone to getting into trouble.
Lake, a 6-month-old Weimaraner, landed herself in surgery after becoming a bit too curious about a tube of Gorilla Glue that was left out in the open, reports the Daily Mail.
She helped herself to a bite of it and soon started to experience an adverse reaction.
According to WXIN, her owner, Krystal Wilson of Oklahoma noticed the puppy wasn’t acting like her usual self and took her to the vet.
By the time Lake was seen by a doctor, the bit of glue had grown into a mass about the size of a turkey leg, requiring an immediate need for surgical intervention, notes KFOR.
A rock hard mass that had molded to the shape of the dog’s stomach was extracted, and just in time.
Lake is said to be recovering rather well.
