Parineeti Chopra's Reaction On Period Taboos | Watch Video
Parineeti Chopra seems to have taken a break from movies as she is seen keeping herself busy with brand endorsements. At the launch of an FMCG product, she fearlessly talks about period taboos. Coming from a small town family, she revealed how she faced a lot of irrational taboos such as not to visit the temple, kitchen, or wash hair during periods. She said that we have not done anything wrong, than why stop us from doing such things?. We now live in an educated country, in an almost developed one. We have come so far ahead. But in these things we are really lagging behind. We have entered in 2016 and its crazy to talk about all this. She also said that such things happen only in our countries, and don’t exist abroad. We need to move ahead from these stupid practices, where these taboos are completely unnecessary. She further said that we refuse to talk about periods. But its high time that we should promote taking about periods openly and remove these taboos Well, Pari has surely surprised everyone with her bold step.
