Sonam Kapoor and director Ram Madhvani are all set to bring the story of an unsung hero, Neerja Bhanot, on the silver screen on 19th February in India. Well the movie has been banned in Pakistan for showing the country in poor light. Also there are certain anti-Pakistan elements in Neerja where the Muslims are shown in a negative light. The movie has been banned in Pakistan without even being submitted to the censor boards. Well the film portrays the story of an air hostess Neerja Bhanot, who saved several hundred lives during the hijacking of a flight in 1986 in Karachi. She eventually lost her life in the battle with hijackers. Neerja was also awarded the Ashok Chakra for saving several hundred lives as an air hostess.
