Orlando nightclub shooter called 911 to pledge allegiance to ISIS

Orlando nightclub gunman Omar Mateen called 911 around the time of the attack to pledge allegiance to ISIS and mentioned the Boston bombers, according to a U.S. official.
The attack, which claimed at least 50 lives, is considered the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
While authorities are still investigating what motivated the gunman, the shooting is being considered an act of terrorism.
