The majority of people become spoiled when they are not faced with difficulties and hardships; suffering remedies it

ADNAN OKTAR: "Mr. Adnan, what is the meaning of the fish that Prophet Moses (pbuh) and his young friend forgot in Surah al-Kahf?" Hizir (pbuh) may have turned into a fish. God says it "quickly burrowed its way into the sea." After that, he may have reached the rocky place and returned to his human form to speak. Because Hizir (pbuh) is a magnificent creature, a magnificent human. He knows the unseeable, because God informed him. He tells Prophet Moses (pbuh), "You will not be able to bear with me." God also operates through innate science, and He emphasizes His morals in this verse. He says "You will not be able to bear with me", some people might not be able to bear it. They rebel against God, may God forbid. If God creates something, you should see the goodness in it. For example God lets war rage on in Syria, thousands of people die because of it, surely this is created by God. God sends Azrael (pbuh), but again it is God Who claims a life. They say " ISIS has killed people." Allright, they killed people but who claimed their lives? God claims their lives and through Azrael (pbuh). These are all subjects of innate sciences. People can't possibly approach this kind of wisdom with the required depth to understand. The purpose there is to remedy people, make people good, full of love, sober, closer to God, in submission to God. The whole world is being disciplined right now, God uses violence in order to discipline. Because otherwise people get spoiled, God forbid. Majority of people require that violence to be disciplined: some of them might find the wisdom through Quran but some can only be remedied through violence and suffering.

BULENT SEZGIN: God says, I seek refuge in God from satan; "You did not kill them; it was God Who killed them; and you did not throw, when you threw; it was God Who threw. So He might test the believers with this excellent trial from Him. God is All-Hearing, All-Knowing". (Surah Al-Anfal, 17)

ADNAN OKTAR: Indeed. God knows what to do. When someone threw something, surely it is God Who created the act of throwing, there is nothing to be surprised about. We can see it before our eyes like a movie. I also said this yesterday: it is only humans who can see the image, hear the sound in the whole universe. For example stars can't possibly know anything, they just float around. Some significant events are taking place, but most people are unaware. For example animals, they're like computers, they know nothing. That is God's gift to them, that way they are protected. Think of a fish in a bowl: if it had consciousness, if it was aware of its being, it would be really hard for it to live there, its whole life passes in a bowl. But God took away his consciousness and turned it into a computer-like being, so it is not aware, it just swims with joy.
