Imagine having 3D navigation directions show up on your car windshield as you are driving in real-time. That's exactly what Russian-Swiss start-up WayRay aim to do, and their augmented reality invention, called the Navion system, could revolutionise the way drivers use satellite navigation as it projects holographic GPS imagery and driver notifications right onto the road in front of the driver.
