The vat had been left outside of a food factory as waste, and it is believed the hungry bird was attempting to pick out the meat when the accident occurred, notes Wales Online.
Lucy Kells, a nurse at the hospital, said, “He really surprised everyone here - we had never seen anything like it before…The thing that shocked us the most was the smell. He smelled amazing...”
Restoring the seagull to his original color took about thirty minutes, but staffers say the aroma is proving rather difficult to wash away.
