117 bodies recovered off Libyan coast as smuggling boat sinks

The horror in the Mediterranean continues as 117 bodies were pulled from the sea after a smuggling boat carrying mainly African migrants sank. A massive search-and-rescue operation saw 340 people be saved. More than 1,000 people have drowned since May 25, while attempting the lengthy journey across the sea from North Africa to Europe's southern shores.
