Aamir Khan Begins Shooting For 'Dangal' In Ludhiana

Aamir Khan, who will be seen playing Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Phogat in upcoming film Dangal, has started shooting for the film in Ludhiana, claim sources close to the Perfectionist.
Buzz has it that Khan will be staying in Ludhiana for over two months to be able to understand and adapt to the Haryanvi lifestyle and the way people wrestle in the akhadas. The film crew has reportedly rented two houses in Gujarwal, some 25 km from Ludhiana, which will stand in for Aamir's house in the movie. It had also been reported recently that Aamir has asked his film team to employ local people as security for the sets.
Dangal is based on the life of Mahavir Phogat, a wrestler, who trained his two daughters in the sport.
