Mom repeatedly punches son in the face for messing up Taco Bell order

MILTON, WEST VIRGINIA — A mother was arrested after police said she was punching her 15-year-old son in the face for getting the wrong toppings on her Taco Bell burrito.

Loretta Lynn Armstrong, 48, was arrested last Friday for the burrito brouhaha. She was charged with felony child abuse and misdemeanor counts of obstruction, intimidating a public official and disorderly conduct, according to the Herald Dispatch.

Milton police were called to the Taco Bell around 6:47 p.m. and spotted a woman punching her son. Corporal Dean Bishop was the first officer to arrive on scene, according to WCHS.

Armstrong and her son told police that the altercation started over a burrito.

When police tried to put handcuffs on Armstrong, she pulled away and yelled profanities before throwing herself on the ground.

After cops wrestled with her and put her in cuffs, she started complaining that she was experiencing chest pains.

Paramedics then arrived on scene and performed an EKG. Surprisingly, she wasn't actually having a heart attack.

According to a police report, Armstrong threatened officers and said she would sue and have them fired.

"All in all, from the moment we arrested her, to the time we finished the arrest was about three hours," Bishop told WCHS.

Amrstrong is currently being held at the Western Regional Jail on a $31,000 bond.
