Microsoft awards grants to help bring affordable Internet access globally

Microsoft continues its efforts in bringing internet access to those without it around the world through part of its Affordable Access Initiative, which awarded grants to 12 businesses. Grant recipients include businesses from Argentina, Botswana, India, Indonesia, Malawi, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, Uganda, the U.K. and the U.S. Companies company will also have access to Microsoft resources, software and services to help them develop their technology.
