Legendary stoner comic Cheech Marin stopped by the Daily News for an exclusive interview for our video series Daily News Insider — but the tete-a-tete didn’t go exactly as planned.
Columnist Gersh Kuntzman had plenty of good questions, but staffers continually interrupted the interview with their own queries for the star of "Up in Smoke," "Cheech and Chong's Next Movie" and the seminal business comedy, "Nice Dreams."
Marin was on hand to promote his new mezcal Tres Papalote, though he eagerly discussed his other favorite intoxicant.
