London gym plans to convert commuter bus into roving spin class

LONDON — British exercise studio 1Rebel hopes to run commuter buses in London that double as mobile spin classes. The idea is to combine morning commutes with exercise, helping gym members to save time.

1Rebel has yet to receive regulatory approval for the idea. The company is in talks with several bus companies about converting buses into mobile spin studios.

1Rebel envisions as many as four bus routes that terminate at its centrally located studio in London. The buses would pick up gym members along the route. Exercise enthusiasts would spin their way through rush hour traffic and could then shower at the 1Rebel studio before heading to the office.

1Rebel says it might price the 45-minute classes between 12 and 15 British pounds.
