Mired in a controversy centered around Facebook's alleged suppressing of conservative content on their news platform, CEO Mark Zuckerberg decided now was a good time to host a meeting in Silicon Valley with leaders of the Republican party.
This was a bold move considering one, it's very rare GOP representatives will fly out to meet with a man who supports gay marriage and two, the guy also says undocumented immigrants should receive legal status.
The much-hyped meeting resulted in a wave of positive tweets, Facebook posts, and other responses from all involved.
Conservative commentator S.E. Cupp called it a “very productive meeting.”
