Aftermath of earthquake in southwest China

Footage has emerged of the aftermath of a shallow earthquake in the city of Dali, Yunnan Province, China.

The video, shot early on Wednesday morning, shows firefighters rescuing citizens amid the damage caused by the earthquake.

According to local news, the earthquake was followed by four aftershocks within half an hour, and the tremor was felt in several countries.

Houses and roads have collapsed but no injuries have been reported so far.
