Greenpeace activists climb Madrid tower to protest TTIP
  • 8 years ago
Footage has emerged from Madrid, Spain, of Greenpeace activists climbing the Torres KIO building, to oppose the free trade agreement being negotiated between the United States and European Union.

In the video, filmed this week, a group of six activists scale one of the facades of the KIO Towers to hang banners reading "No to the TTIP" .

Greenpeace says that the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) would give too much power to big business at the expense of consumers and governments.
