Activist Trupti Desai enters Haji Ali, stops short of going into inner sanctum - Tv9 Gujarati

After protesters didn't let her enter it last month, equal rights activist Trupti Desai successfully entered the Haji Ali dargah here on Thursday morning, but stopped short of going to the area where women aren't allowed. She will do that the next time.
"We will try to visit the inner sanctum next time, This is a fight for gender equality", she said after coming out of dargah, and added that she prayed women will again be allowed into the inner sanctum like they were before 2011.
