Akale, angakale..
Raavanayukayaay, angakale..

Inninte sooryan oru chithayaay maarunnu
Theruvorathetho nizhalaay sandhye..
Kannethaa dhooram irulaay valarunnu
angetho konil kariyaay ponveyile..
Venn chaayam moodave, kanneeril maayave..
Thalaraathe idaraathe vidachollu..
Ilakaathe patharaathe piriyu..
Akale, angakale..
Raavanayukayay, angakale..

(Inninte... ponveyile..)

Snehathaal, mohathaale..
Kaattathe thooval pole..
Mele mele paari naam
Thaazhe thaazhe neenthi naam..
Oru vaakkil vida cholli piriyaano
Oru kaattil pala paadaay chitharaano..

Angetho konil kariyaayi ponveyile..
Venn chaayam moodave, kanneeril maayave..
Thalaraathe idaraathe vidachollu..
Ilakaathe patharaathe piriyu..

Akale, angakale..

'Left Right Left' (signifies the rhythm of one's walk) is an Indian Malayalam language political thriller film directed by Arun Kumar Aravind released in 2013, starring Indrajith Sukumaran, Murali Gopy, Remya Nambeesan, Lena Kumar, Hareesh Peradi in the lead roles. The film got excellent reviews and several accolades, but failed at the box office.

'Left Right Left' is set in 3 periods: the 60s-70s, the 80s-90s and the present day. The film begins with formative events from the childhood of Jayan aka 'Vattu' Jayan (Indrajith Sukumaran), Roy Joseph (Murali Gopy) and Kaitheri Sahadevan (Hareesh Peradi). Sahadevan and Roy losing their fathers to thugs employed by their opponents and Jayan losing his ill sister to lack of money for an operation.
Jayan grows up to become a corrupt policeman, Roy a communist who teaches in a school with his wife Anitha (Lena Kumar), and Sahadevan a ruthless leader of the Communist Party. Roy and his friends expose a case of corruption in which Sahadevan is involved. The two friends are mysteriously murdered, while Roy is spared; purportedly because of Sahadevan's respect for his father.
One day, Roy collapses and is taken to hospital, but failed to save his life. Anitha tells Jayan the story of their old friendship with Sahadevan- how Roy's idealism and Sahadevan's use of violence and trickery soured the relationship. Jayan finally learns that Sahadevan had once hired goons to attack Roy, maiming him for life which eventually leads to his death. In that anger, Jayan stabs Sahadevan and killed him. The film ends with the arrest of Jayan by the police.
