When Akshay Kumar Broke Down On ‘Airlift’ Sets… !

Martial artist-turned-actor Akshay Kumar is considered to be one of the toughest actors in the film industry, who can perform death-defying stunts without breaking into a sweat, but recently, the ‘Khiladi’ proved that deep down inside, he is a real softie.
It seems that while shooting a scene from his upcoming film ‘Airlift’, when the Indian flag was raised as the first flight took off from Kuwait with Indian evacuees, Akshay got emotional and broke down on the sets of the film, much to the astonishment of the film team. As the scene did require him to weep, the shooting was not halted and Akki ended up giving an emotional scene without using any glycerin.
‘Airlift’ revolves around the evacuation of lakhs of Indians from Kuwait during the Iraqi invasion.
