The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission posted the story to its Facebook page on Monday, revealing that two officers were conducting a routine stop on a vehicle when they noticed alligator parts inside “including the alligator foot in the dashboard of the truck!”
The accompanying photo shows a scaly, four-toed paw sticking out from a space below an air vent.
While the man claimed that the reptile had been killed years ago, the officers sensed the death was more recent.
