Russia Celebrates Defeat of Nazi Germany with 71st Moscow Victory Day Parade

Moscow’s Victory Day parade kicked off on Monday at 10.00 local time, marking the 71st anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe, called the "Great Patriotic War" in Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin and top members of his administration were joined by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev sat in the places of honor and a chime from Red Square's iconic Spasskaya Tower announced the official beginning of the ceremony.
