Sunny Deol, the ‘dhai kilo ka haath’ hero, who had taken on powerful industrialist Balwant Rai in ‘Ghayal’, is back to battle bad guys in ‘Ghayal Once Again’ and the trailer of the sequel, is sure to warm the cockles of fans of Sunny paaji.
Starting off from where ‘Ghayal’ ended with Ajay Mehra being taken to jail, the sequel will feature Ajay entering society again after serving his sentence and coming to the aid of four youngsters, who are persecuted by a powerful businessman named Raj Bansal after the four witness Bansal committing a murder.
As expected, the trailer is full of ‘dishoom-dishoom’ and Sunny roaring against the villain (remember the ‘Balwant Rai ke kutton’ dialogue sequence?). However, we feel that the makers could have roped in a more powerful actor to play the antagonist as Narendra Jha lacks the menace and intensity that the late Amrish Puri (the antagonist in the prequel) had in spades.
‘Ghayal Once Again’, which also stars Soha Ali Khan, is slated to release on January 15.
