Year 2016 has started on a rather
good note for Shraddha Kapoor. A few days ago Karan Johar announced that she will star in his next production venture and now, it has been revealed that she will play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor's film adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's Half Girlfriend.
The film will be directed by Mohit Suri and this will be her third film with him after Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain. Mohit recently went to New York to scout locations for the film's climax.
Set in rural Bihar, New Delhi, Patna, and New York, the novel revolves around the life of a Bihari Boy in quest of winning over the girl he loves.
