While many things have been written and said about the animosity and rivalry between Rekha and Jaya Bachchan, the duo proved their detractors wrong by giving, everyone present, a Kodak moment at the recently held Screen Awards 2016.
At the event, they not only met each other cordially but also hugged and exchanged pleasantries. Interestingly, both the ladies were dressed in silk sari and had gajras adorning their hair. They sat next to each other throughout the show and also seated next to Rekha was Deepika Padukone.
Rekha and Jaya’s husband Amitabh Bachchan have given many hit films together and their rumoured off-screen romance has always intrigued Bollywood buffs. Reportedly, they parted ways after their 1981 release Silsila, which also starred Jaya Bachchan.
