Sanjay Dutt, who is presently serving his prison term in Pune’s Yerawada Jail, will be released on February 25 and the actor will start working on the third Munnabhai film, once he is out.

However, that’s not all! The 56-year-old also wants to produce some films. We hear that Sanjay wants to make a film on the life of one of his fellow inmates. Sanjay is pally with almost all his prison inmates however, when he heard this particular fellow prisoner’s story, it touched him so much that he decided to make a movie on it.

Apparently, the man is behind the bars following a family dispute and a significant part of the film will be based on his life in the prison. Sanjay will lock the film’s cast and director once he returns to Mumbai.

“He is definitely not co-writing this one but will be actively involved with the scripting and production. The film will roll this year itself,” reveals a source.

Dutt was sentenced to jail by the Supreme Court, in connection with his involvement in the 1993 Bombay bomb blast case, in March 2013.
