Pratyusha Banerjee Commits Suicide - Pratyusha Was Just 24

Pratyusha Banerjee, who became a household name after she essayed the role of Anandi in popular TV show Balika Vadhu, committed suicide on Friday. She was 24.
Pratyusha was found hanging at her Kandivali residence earlier in the day. She was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri however, she was announced dead at arrival.
Buzz has it that she took this drastic step because of relationship woes. She was about to get married to her boyfriend actor Rahul Singh but we hear that she was depressed about the way things were shaping up between the two. Salil Ankola, who was her co-contestant in Power Couple however, claims that she was very excited about her wedding and that the news of her suicide has come as a shock. Cops are now investigating the case.
Past few months had been pretty turbulent for the deceased actress. She had accused eight men of posing as cops and trying to barge in her house and molesting her. She and her boyfriend were also in news for non-payment of dues post her birthday bash at a plush suburban lounge.
