Huge Waterspout Filmed Over California's Lake Berryessa

A trip to California’s Lake Berryessa took an unexpected turn on Wednesday, April 27, when a huge waterspout formed over the Napa Valley reservoir. Fairfield resident Charlie Postlethwait shot this footage of the waterspout as it moved across the surface of the lake. Severe storms brought a day of unsettled weather to northern California, with reports of a possible tornado in Waterford and hail and rain in other parts of the state.
