At about noon on Monday, Sgt. Greg Bogert answered a call concerning a man walking in and out of traffic on an area highway.
Footage shows Sgt. Bogert stop and exit the car.
As he approaches the wailing and distressed individual, the man darts towards the concrete embankment of a bridge, and it appears he intends to jump.
