Striking Skull Images Of King Richard III On Display At A London Gallery

New works by contemporary artist Alexander de Cadenet feature x-ray images of the skull of Richard III.

Despite having spent much of his posthumous existence anonymously and unceremoniously buried beneath a British parking lot, Richard III has been celebrated by many influential artists and writers. 
Among the latest to highlight the last of the Plantagenet rulers is contemporary creator Alexander de Cadenet. 
His works, which are on display at London’s Andipa Gallery through April 25, feature X-ray images of the royal’s skull.
De Cadenet often uses such visual motifs, but he says he is particularly honored to incorporate the cranial pictures of the long-lost king.
