Bizarre footage of police in China inspecting a car with towels over the number plates, which the driver apparently did to avoid security cameras.

The video, captured in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province last Thursday, shows police looking at the parked black car, which has a blue towel over the rear license plate.

According to local reports, the driver wanted to park his car on opposite roadside, which is illegal, so he thought a towel would help him out.

Police eventually fined him the equivalent of £20 GBP and points were deducted off his license.
