Tesla Model S - Billion Miles

Early this morning, Tesla Motors announced that their Model S fleet had passed the 1 billion miles driven mark, truly an accomplishment worth noting, as all the miles logged by Tesla have been fully electric. The company has now sold about 75,000 copies of the Model S since it first arrived in the US in June of 2012, so as the chart (above) demonstrates, the miles are really starting to pile up fast.
