It was confirmed Thursday that top Chinese actress Tiffany Tang, or Tang Yan, is set to star in the forthcoming film “Bounty Hunters,” according to the films production company Starhaus Entertainment.\r

“There had been fierce competition for the films female lead character. Tang managed to beat out some of the biggest names in the industry,” said the company, also hinting at a romance with Hallyu star Lee Min-ho in the movie.\r

Tang, known as one of Chinas “Top 4 Beauties,” will be playing a charismatic female protagonist who falls in love with Lee.\r

As the film is aimed at being an Asian blockbuster, it will also incorporate a large-scale story along with its big budget, building anticipation with fans.\r

The two are set to show off their chemistry in the multinational action film which features five bounty hunters who chase fugitives for money in Korea, China, Hong Kong and Thailand -- to be filmed from September.
