Amateur Astronomer Observes Big Impact on Jupiter

An experienced amateur astronomer spotted a possible asteroid hitting Jupiter on March 17. Gerrit Kernbauer saw a bright flash of light for less than a second, seen to the right of the planet at around 13 seconds into this video.
