With immense pressure to bolster revenue, Twitter struck a deal with the NFL to stream its Thursday night games.
Game will be free and users don't have to be registered to enjoy the many hard hits and touchdown celebrations.
The rights package also includes in-game highlights of the games, as well as pregame Periscope broadcasts from players and teams.
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but the league originally offered it to social media rival Facebook, Verizon and Amazon, before moving the way of Twitter.
"This is about transforming the fan experience with football," Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said.
Twitter now becomes the third destination where a fan can watch a Thursday night game, joining NBC, CBS and NFL Network.
