- 11/2 cup of red kidney beans (rajma)
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cups of water

Rajma Masala
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 3 chopped onions
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp of garlic and ginger paste
- 4 tomatoes
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- water
- coriander
- 1 tsp of coriander powder
- 1 tsp of cumin powder
- 1 tsp of garam masala
- tomato ketchup (optional)
- kasoori meethi

- Soak red kidney beans (rajma) over night
- Pressure cook the rajma for 20-25 minutes. Add salt and water to it
- Cook onion in a pan with heated oil and add green chillies to it and salt
- Add ginger and garlic paste, tomatoes, red chilli powder and water and coriander
- Grind the masala and add little water to it and add the paste in the boiled rajma
- Pressure cooker it with one whistle.
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala and tomato ketchup and kasoori methi
- Add more coriander
