The Easter Rising in Photographs - The Sean Sexton Collection

A hundred years ago, a small group of Republicans in Dublin, Ireland, challenged the power of the British Empire.  Fifteen of them were subsequently shot by firing squad.  In this film, based on an exhibition about the Easter Rising in the Photographers' Gallery in London, curator Luke Dodd evokes the atmosphere of the Rising, and explains some of its origins.
