Driving on New Mexico's Singing Stretch of Route 66

America’s iconic Route 66 highway now has another reason to assert its legendary status. A stretch of the road in New Mexico has added a musical strip which plays America the Beautiful. Installed as a speed deterrent, the singing road will only sound musical notes for drivers who obey the 45 mph speed limit. Ken put it to the test on a drive in early 2015 and captured the result.
