No charges against officers in Jamar Clark shooting
  • 8 years ago
Two Minneapolis police officers involved in the shooting death of 24-year-old Jamar Clark won’t face charges, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Wednesday.
Clark was shot by officers on November 15 during a disturbance call.
The Minneapolis police union said he was reaching for an officer’s gun during a scuffle, but some witnesses argued, saying he was shot while handcuffed.
His death ignited widespread protests.
