Bottle kicking match takes place on mile-long pitch in English village

Footage of yesterday's "bottle kicking" match near the English village of Hallaton, an Easter tradition that possibly dates back hundreds of years.

The video shows the two teams, Hallaton and neighbouring village Medborne, competing to kick a wooden peg into goals which are a mile apart on open farmland.

The footage also shows the moment Medborne manage to score a goal.
