Baby Gorillas are just so Cute and Sweet!

One of our astounding female gorillas at the Louisville Zoological Gardens was in distress during labor and required emergency C-section. To our deepest sadness the mother, Mia, did not survive. Her beautiful baby is now stable, being fed by bottle and cared for 24/7. We grieve for Mia but celebrate her baby. There have been 3 successful births of gorillas at the Award winning Great Apes exhibit in Louisville, KY. As usual, there will be a city wide contest to present her with a name. How blessed and exciting!
