Coots

We have a lot of coots where I live in California. The coots are medium-sized water birds and are predominantly black in plumage with white beaks. They like to hang out on the 17th fairway by our lake. No one around our community like them because they are noisy and very messy.

Even though everyone here hates these birds, I think they are beautiful in their own way. I felt sorry for one bird who seemed to have an injured leg in the video. Notice at the end of this clip there's a duck that appears.
