S3 (also known as Singam III) is an upcoming 2016 Indian Tamil action film directed by Hari. A sequel to the 2013 film Singam II, the film stars Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan. Anirudh Ravichander was replaced by Harris Jayaraj as the music director for the film. Principal photography of the film commenced on 7 January 2016 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. and expected to be released in theatres on October 28 during Diwali.
As per the buzz, the makers have planned to release six posters of the forthcoming movie. Suriya is expected to be seen in stylish and trendy avatars in the first look. However, there are still confusions over the title after a tweet from the production house asked its followers to guess the name.
Some say that it is just a strategy to get people involved into the 'tweet debates' over the title. However, many on social networking sites do not like to see a change in the title as "Singam" is the most successful franchise in Kollywood. The cine-goers want to see them in the third instalment rather than a different flick.
Nonetheless, Suriya and Hari's movie title might go for a change if they are collaborating for a fresh subject, say reports. Meanwhile, the fans are ready to welcome the first look. They are using a few hashtags to create trends on social networking sites. The official hashtag used to generate buzz is #SuriyaHariCombo.

In the latest movie, Shruthi Haasan is reportedly playing the female lead. The movie was supposed to take off in November. But unprecedented rain in Chennai changed the plans. The attempt to begin the first schedule in Kolkata was also cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
The regular shooting reportedly begins from 7 January in Vizag.
