Stunning footage of large chunks of ice crunching together as they float down an ice-congested river in Russia.

The video, filmed Kureyka River last year, shows the ice making an impressive crunching sound as it presses against the bank of the half frozen river.

The filmer later wrote online: "Simply amazing when hundreds of incredible colored ice chunks jammed at river mud.

"The sound of crunching ice is fascinating."

The Kureyka is covered every year from the middle of October to the end of May of ice," he continued.
