After years of erosion and some unfortunate collapses, Australia’s famed Twelve Apostles have been dwindling, but researchers recently discovered a whole new crop of formations.

The Twelve Apostles, a grouping of limestone stacks jutting out of the waters near Victoria, Australia, are a hugely popular tourist attraction, drawing millions of visitors a year. 

After years of erosion and some unfortunate collapses, the site had been dwindling, but researchers from University of Melbourne recently discovered a whole new crop of formations.
