A dramatic video has emerged of a boat sinking in the crocodile infested waters of the Pascoe River, north Queensland, Australia.

The footage, captured by a camera attached to the boat, shows the moment the two they hit a sand bar which sent them into the water and caused the boat to sink.

he filmer later wrote online: "The river is crocodile habitat and the boat was pretty small.

"We crossed the wake which was amplified over a sand bar and the boat nose dived.

"We sunk the whole thing. Luckily no one was hurt and we eventually got the engine running again".

The video, shot last year, has only recently emerged online.
